Annelise Fox grew up on the east coast of the United States, exploring tidal marshes and devouring fantasy books. Unable to find a portal to another world or uncover secret magical powers, she nonetheless embarked on an adventure west, eventually settling with her partner, child, and cats in the foothills of Colorado. She now writes stories blending all her favorite things; magic, animals, romance, and characters with a mind of their own. When she’s not wrangling said characters back into an outline, her other hobbies include playing D&D with her friends, exploring the mountains, and filling her shelves with books faster than she can read them.
Her new novel will be out in 2028 with a major publisher, details to be revealed soon.
